No, they are not made from rubber.

What is polypropylene? More like vinyl or rubber? I do not want the mat to change the color of my decking.
Polypropylene is a synthetic resin that is a polymer of propylene, used in the manufacture of ropes, fabrics, and molded objects; it is a form of plastic – a plastic material known as polymer. It is inert and will not damage or change the color of your deck. It is not rubber and it is not vinyl.
Are your mats rigid or flexible?
Our mats are flexible.
Will your BBQ Mats catch on fire? Want to use with charcoal grill.
If amber falls on the mat, it may melt the mat but the amber will self extinguish and never manifest into flames.

Can I use your BBQ Mat under a propane fire pit on a wooden deck?
I have spoken to our in-house engineer and he says yes you can use our BBQ Mat under a propane-fueled fire pit on top of a wooden deck.
What is the weight of your 32 x 60 inch BBQ Mat?
Our 32 x 60 inch BBQ Mat is 3 lbs.
How are these pads cleaned for reuse by pets?
Simply hose off your mat with water, mist with a mild liquid soap/water solution to neutralize any odors, allow to air dry and reuse. (Dawn dish soap is highly recommended; however, any liquid dish soap or laundry detergent will work - mix a solution made of 3 parts water & 1-part liquid soap). If you have a stain, apply the washing solution on soiled areas, let stand for 20 minutes, hose off, then wet vacuum or squeegee and allow to air dry.
Concerned about the composition of All-Season Garage Mat and whether it will withstand daily usage. We live in the country and have two miles of grid road which means some small stones will end up on the mat may perforate it.
I just spoke to our in-house engineer and he is confident that our mat will stand up to the wear that you described. The top layer of the mat is made from a closed-weave, needle-punch fabric. The core layer is made from needle-punch fabric. As such, the likelihood of stones penetrating the layers and perforating the membrane/barrier is very small. Having said this, please know that we stand behind our product and guarantee its functionality. We are here to be of assistance and remedy any concerns.
Can the Urinal Mat be cleaned and reused?
Yes, the Urinal Mat can be reused and cleaned. It has a life span of up to 6 weeks.
